Laboratory Planning  Services

Precision Architecture traveled to Angola to assess existing refinery laboratory spaces across two buildings and develop a program and bridging documents for a new consolidated QA/QC laboratory facility.

Due to the remote location, careful product selection was essential to minimize maintenance needs and account for long lead times on replacement parts. The design includes high-purity gas generators, lab waste containment, redundant HVAC systems, and a large H₂S dry scrubber to support continuous and safe operations.

A hazardous chemical storage and dispensing area was designed to meet electrical classification requirements, with life safety and code compliance guiding every aspect of the project.

Key Features:

  • Laboratory assessment and program development for consolidated QA/QC facility
  • Low-maintenance design with gas generators, HVAC redundancy, and H₂S scrubber
  • Hazardous chemical storage meeting safety and code requirements
